It's the only way I'll go that big in tires again. The gas mileage I got in my 2000 was horrible. I've always wanted to build a 1st gen and V8 swap or JZ swap it.

I hear ya, it's hard to justify duratracs when I get descent mileage with these P rated destinations.
My ultimate plan is to sas an 86-89 with a TG 4", 37's, twins, dual lockers, f/r bumpers and a mild cage, oh and powered by a 2UZ!

Went with the OME light duty setup, and Toytec Superflex rear coils. Love the stance and the ride. Also, one of the guys in our local club gave me his 17" tacoma rims with Firestone Destination MT's for free!

I'm looking at OME struts/coil and OME rear shocks. Just wondering if there is any reason you went with 5100's and not the OME struts and shocks? I was looking at 5100's but was told that OME is the best shock for 4Runners.

This post will be getting deleted due to not supposed to have discussions. There cleaning this stick up.
As far as your ?. What I understand is the 5100's give you more of the stock/ smooth comfort absorbtion.
As far as my rear monroes- I Wanted more than a 2" rear lift, so, I left my previous spacer lift in and added the rear shocks as they handle 1200 lb payloads. Minimal squatting as I sometimes pull a trailer or load my back side with weight. I will be changing the rear setup in the future, this works for now.
What I have hear is the ome shocks are a stiffer absorbtion.

To clarify, I'm leaving two weeks of banter. That way we can all praise people's rigs, but it won't clutter up in the long run.
