Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

Here's a before & after picture. I tried to park the car at the exact same spot and take the picture from the exact same angle. Close enough?

Before: ~4in lift (3in suspension lift + 1in from tires [from 31' to 32' tires])

After: ~6in of lift (3in suspension lift, 2in from tires [from 31' to 33' tires] + 1in BL)

Got some new tires and spacers put on about 200 miles ago,
General Grabbers At2 Lt 275/65/18 E and SpiderTrax.

So far they feel pretty soft and cushy to me, just not used to the smooth ride and explains why they are so good in the snow. The siping, tread, and looks of this tire rocks!

Yeah I've seen these Generals before but on trucks and they didn't look so hot. But when I saw them on yours (NYC_Runner) I was sold. Thanks for pointing these out. Whats your tire pressure you run on the streets?

How much lift are you running, and how much trimming did you have to do? I'm thinking about doing the same size tires in toyo oc at2

You know when i first put them on i was running them around 50psi and i noticed on the edges of my tires that they weren't fully making contact so i dropped them down to 45psi and now they're good rides smooth. Also when i went wheeling i dropped them down around 20-25psi and they were great!

Just the usual, move fender liner forward and a little dremelling no biggie.

Finally decided to put some tires and wheels on my 2006 SR5. These are 265/70/17 Nitto Terra's sitting on American Outlaw Buckshot wheels. It's currently stock lift but I am putting a leveling kit on tomorrow and will post pictures of the whole car.

After a lot of back-and-forth about what to do...

I finally decided to get the 3" Toytec Lift.

Not being all that confident in my own installation skills, the problem was finding a place who could do it.

So I went to a local place where I take my work vehicle for service: All-Star Service Center in Duluth, MN (shameless plug).

They did lifts, but not Toytec. I told them what I wanted and within 24 hours, the owner had signed up as a Toytec dealer. So I was their guinea pig! Came out great and rides like a dream.

After that, I got Chuck some new shoes - Nokian Vatiivas. Had to track down a set in North Dakota since they're not made anymore.

First trip after adding the 5100's and front Moog FJ coils. All went well and I'm real happy with the set up. I also had my first chance to use the downhill assist on a steep hill, rutted and rocky. The only thing I passed getting to the rock wall was a few four-wheelers that looked at me kinda funny.... I don't think they expected to see a SUV due to all the creeks you have to cross to make it there.

t4rghost did you have any alignment issues with that setup? I also have TRD front coils off a 2012 and just curios if it aligned ok. And how is the ride???

Fox 2.0 lift

Fox Performance 2.0 front coilovers, Fox Performance 2.0 rear shock and Moog FJ coils. Front might settle a little bit more, have to get an alignment tomorrow, running about 2 degrees of positive camber, lol. Only drove it home from my friends house, but the ride is fantastic. Soaks up everything and it's not too firm, just right. I'll do more of a review after the alignment and more driving time. I completely removed the XREAS system, which had no issues or leaks.

Front about 37.5in rear is at 37.75in.
