Sort of.. The OME rear shock will have the proper valving, but unloaded the OME rear shocks have a very stiff initial valving, great when loaded though. Are you adding a rear bumper or carrying alot of weight? Is there a reason you want such a heavy rear spring?

yea i have a rear storage system and i usually haul my polaris ranger around because of hunting. also for carrying deer and hogs on a hitch and haul
Ok. The 896 with nitro charger sport will handle the weight well. They might feel a little firm at the beginning of the compression stroke when unloaded, but the trade off is good control when loaded.

I have the one 895 with the 5100 in the rear of my rig and I can tell everyone here that for my style of off road, fast on road driving and fast off road driving, for an off the shelf shock the rear balance of my truck is pretty dam good. When I go out, I do have some weight. Mostly your typical trail gear, food coolers recovery gear ect. I was pretty impressed at the compression and rebound control of this particular package. Now up front, well that's a different story. I'm running the 5100 in the second to highest setting, plus a toytec/Eibach 2" 60 lb spring. This package is a bit off, but for a total off the shelf cheap kit, it's pretty cool. Soon I'm buying some rebuildable foxes in order to dial the front in. With my current front package, it needs to have the rebound worked on. Once the rebound gets sorted out this truck for who it is will really work nice. But I'm not complaining. I chose this package on my own knowing full well what I was getting. And for a 100% off the shelf kit, my particular package hauls ass on and off road fast or slow. I would define my kit as the perfect off the shelf bolt on all around Sport Kit for any and all surfaces.

I love how they look and now how they ride and function. Only thing I havent tried these on yet is snow but have heard nothing but good things.. Already tried them on rain and they were exellent.. I was gonna go with the Cooper 255s but prefer the look of the Duratracs better.. I do have the Coooper ATs on my Landcruiser but the Duratracs were also a bit cheaper..

I ran the 255-75-17 in a Mud Terrain for a while. Great all around size.
But since I spend a lot of time in sugar sand now I moved up (or out) to a 285-70-17. When air'd down they float well in the sugar sand.
