Sweet just what I needed to see and hear...looks *****in brotha. I need a piece of info from you could you tell me the measurement of your rear end driver/passenger from floor to wheel well. I too just added some ass weight and more this weekend and what shocks are you running in the rear. ..I have the all pro 3.5" and Fox 2.0's on order but I think I'm gonna need to go with the metal techs instead but this info would determine that for me...thanx man. Good job on your rig.

I'm sitting at 40 1/2" on both sides and i have the bilstein 5100s. I've only been on springs for about a week but I don't anticipate they well settle much at all. So far these springs have been great and the one thing I love about them is that the springs are designated driver and passenger side springs to compensate for the driver side lean and they've done a great job of it so far. That is the best answer I have heard, I also have the 5100's as of now on my rig my height on rear is 38.5 and 38.75 ish so that is exactly what I need then. Do you feel as though the 5100's are max/stretched out with no travel left in them?

Ome885, bilstein 5100s, 1.25 BL and 265/65/18s

Today I installed my front bilstein and ome885 coils. I have the ras so I will tinker with that tomorrow when I put in the rear bilsteins. The xreas wasn't too hard to disconnect. I did it at the check valve and then cut the shock line carefully.

Initial lift is 3.75" driver side and 4" passenger up front. Hoping it will settle a little. I also did not use a 1/4" packer on the driver side strut. I hope to fix it with the rear. We will see.

So, on the passenger side, I did the no spring compressor method. It worked, but it was pretty hard to pry everything into place. I didnt rrally like flexing the lower control arm that much either. On the driver side, I went a got a spring compressor to build the coil over shocks with the top hat. Those things are sketchy as hell. The rod was bending. I'm not religious and was praying that I didn't die building a coil over. If I did it again, I would take them to a shop so they could compress and assemble for me.

Anyway, that's my experience. It looks dumb without the spidertrax so those go on tomorrow too. I will post some more pics then.

[MENTION=87687]LTDSC[/MENTION] runs them along with a couple other people on here without the LT shocks with good results.

Some FJ guys run them with OME 60071L long travel shocks. 4runner people need to start doing this.

They are a couple inches taller uncompressed length than the Allpro 3.5" I think though. This just allows them to gain more droop without falling out.

Did you powdercoat your wheels or just spray them?
Can you crank your front coils up any more?

Alright, got the back bilstein shocks installed. Toyed with my ras too and got it pretty level. Ground to fender in the back is at about 39.75 and in the front about 38.25.

Cvs are oozing...damn. Getting an alignment on Monday. Rear cam bolts definitely siezed. May get new lower control arms and OEM cam bolts. We will see what happens during the alignment.

Annnnd, got the spidertrax installed. Looks great to me.

Note the bumper looks funny as I edited to remove plate.

He's prolly not running spacers, those fn(x) pro wheels are already a zero offset. I'm actually trying to get a set myself but Dustin at FN wheels is currently out of them at the moment.

For the wheels I took the clear coat off of them because it had been peeling in certain areas and then sandblasted them to give them a good texture for the primer and paint to stick to. So I spray painted them. As for the front coils, I have plenty of room to crank them up more if I decide to.

As far as I can tell, my shocks feel fine. I rarely get one of the rear wheels off the ground but if I do, I'm not going fast so I'm not worried about damaging the shock if it does bottom out.

No concern here because I don't have the rear sway bar disconnected so from what I've read, the sway bar will limit the rear travel and most of the wheeling I do around where I live is not anything hardcore. I do plan on getting stainless steel extended rear brake lines though.
