Look great! I love those Trail wheels. You use wheel spacers also?

That's what I'm wondering too, did you need spacers to fit those? I've got the OME Heavy duty suspension and want to run those tires.

I didn't see anything about needing spacers to get them to fit. There is some minor rubbing that was expected. Need to massage fender liners and remove mud flaps. Also I haven't checked for rubbing on body mount at full compression either.

Still have some more work to do

Thanx!

Muskoka4runner My roof rack was not difficult to install at all. It took a friend and me about 30 minutes to remove the stock roof rack, assemble the new one, and mount it on the truck. The kit comes with great instructions that include pictures.

Do the tires sit flush with the fenders ?
Thanks.

Got my suspension upgrade installed - Fox 2.5 Coilovers with Wheeler's T12 and Fox 2.0 in the rear. I've only put a few miles on it so far, but am very impressed with how it rides.
CV angle looks pretty good, too.

How much was this set up? And where can I order it?
It was just about $1,800 shipped, including the rear shock roost shields and spanner wrench. I got it from Wheeler's Offroad; they're always super helpful and answered all of my questions for months on end before I could muster the financial courage to pull the trigger on it.

ordered, not installed

Pulled the trigger on an OME kit, 885 front, 895 rear.

I bought the front struts assembled w/ new mounts and bushings, but I'm still not sure I want to do it myself... I'm going to think about it for about a week 'til they get here. I just know I'm going to break some rusty bolts, plus I don' have a torque wrench or another car/significant other/roommate to go get parts after I would inevitably take everything apart and need a tool or hardware from the store... Need brakes and might have the shop do tires (255/75/17 BFG T/A KO2's on stock 17" wheels) at same time.

Flame me for not DIY'ing or tell me horror stories of your DIY gone wrong - anyone encounter problems removing rusty old XREAS components? My '05 is in good mechanical/running condition but it's awfully rusty underneath, it's logged 150K+ miles in Kentucky.

If you haven't sprayed every bolt with penetrating oil, do it now. Like PB Blaster or WD40, go now. lol

No flame, but you can do It! If you have some basic tools, you'll be fine. I guess toughest will be the three top hat nuts in the front but all in all, not so bad. Your call though...

My xreas came out fine no issues. 2003 223k in a salty winter climate.
I did have a seized stru mount on the passenger side. Took a day soaking in PB Blaster a torch and pry bars to get it to pop free. I also had one of the sway bar mount bolts give me issues. The nut inside of the frame popped free from the weld. I have to address that still.
My alignment cam bolts are also seized inside the LCA's so can't get alignment done yet. Currently soaking in PB with hopes of getting them to break loose.

I wouldnt do it myself just becuase I have no idea what I am doing and no proper tools. I would check if the LCA camber bolts are adjustable so it will be able to do the alignment after lift, otherwise if you see them frozen, sh*t tons of work will be added.

I just got mine done two weeks ago, had to replace LCA and that added another 800$ parts and labor.

And possibly tires, you might be able to negotiate a good price for the suspension install since the truck will already be in the air, with the wheels off..

Might be a cost effective wash in terms of your time and the risk of messing something up, knowing you had it done right the first time AND if any thing goes wrong you have recourse..

Just an idea..
