Tire fitment

I have a 2005 Toyota 4Runner with a 3 inch front leveling kit I want to buy these tires and rims the tires are 33x12.5xr20 and I was wondering if I would have any serious rub

06 Limited V6 4X4

Mods:
2.5/1.5 Daystar
265/65/18 Falken WildPeak AT3W
White LED's at running boards and license plate

My next mods include a K&N CAI, maybe SpiderTraxx wheel spacers, PlastiDip wheels (limited factory paint is awful) and orange (doors) & white (map/dome) LEDs on interior.

Lift is addicting - I can see myself adding taller coils when these tires wear out and adding 275/70R18 tires.

Also - I'm in the Wilmington, NC area.. if anyone on here is in that area and knows of good off-roads spots or wants to connect for a ride let me know!

What leveling kit is it? Spacer I'm assuming? Also for the wheels, what offset are they?

Some of those questions will help, however no matter how you answer the above, you will rub for sure. Severity of the rub depends on answers.

-If your wheel offset is really high (-) you may not be able to use them at all.
-If your offset is lower you may be able to run the tires, but then you might rub on the UCA
-guaranteed to hit the Body Mount, so will have to cut that
-for sure trim the front bumper and remove mud flap.

Here read this http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/102272-4th-gen-suspension-options-faq.html

You can get them to fit, but it will be quiet a bit of work and more money.

Been lurking for a while, but finally purchased an '03 Limited a couple months ago and I've been bitten by the modding bug.

Installed the Daystar 2.5/1.5 kit this weekend and mounted some 255/75r17 BFG M-T's and super happy with the way it sits now versus stock. Also upgraded the front brakes to the 5th gen calipers and rotors and what a difference.

Any rubbing with the 285/70? Did you body mount chop? Im interested in getting the same size but want to make sure its going to work.

Round tire + round wheel well = it'll work.

Depends on many factors such as alignment, wheel offset, and true tire/tread size. I am one of the few who hasn't trimmed their body mount with 285/70R17. But I got the tires used so that is the main reason why. If you have UCA's that allow for a lot of castor or you don't have wheel spacers or aftermarket offset wheels, you might not need to do a BMC.

But you did the the Body lift? I was thinking about the body lift myself, I just am kinda bummed that addicted offroad bumpers do not accommodate the body lifts. I was planning on getting one this year. Any rock sliders or bumpers will have to be compatible.

that equates to about 32.7". I was hoping to go with 275/70/18 for my next set which is about 33.2". I'm guessing I might have some rubbing issues. maybe ill try a 265/70/18 instead.

*3" OME lift with wheel spacers.

Took my 4th gen to test out the suspension and tires

Took my 4th gen to test out the suspension and tires, flex is nothing too impressive compared to jeeps but a big step up from stock.

A body lift doesn't change the rubbing on the body mount, it only moves the body and not the frame.

The bumpers and sliders are technically "compatible" but you will see the body lift gap between your body and armor pieces. You don't want the bumpers super close anyway to allow your frame to flex without rubbing. A 1/2" BL would probably look fine. A stock bumper works perfectly with my 1.5" BL you just have to bolt it up a set of holes higher. You might be able to do this with an aftermarket bumper, or just find a bumper that does compensate.

Weld-on sliders are easy to weld higher if you know a guy that welds.

I'm guessing I might have some rubbing issues.

That's what trimming is for! Power tools are fun!

285/70R17, from the manufacturers, are usually listed as exactly 33". Get whatever size you want, trimming is the easy part, they will all require the same amount more or less.

Thinking about going with General Grabber At2's, with Bilstein 5100's and Moog FJC springs.

I'm thinking about the size of the AT2's, either 265/70/17 or 255/70/17. Which do you guys think is better? Will one fit better than the other? Will either have rubbing issues even at stock height?

Thanks!
