Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

Picked up this 08 SE V8 with lift and wheels/tires in place. The previous owner did a Daystar 2.5 in front 1.5 in the back leveling kit with ProComp wheels and Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs 265/70R17.

Kinda miss my old KO2’s from my 15 SR5. Will probably get those again when these are done.

New member here! I found a 4Runner that needed a ton of work but it's been fun bringing it back to its former glory. It's a V8 2WD without locker, so I decided to go for more of a mall crawler. So far i've done 4" spindles, 3" springs, and Bilsteins. Did the rear last night, measured 24" hub to fender. I have a 1.5" spacer for the rear but I think I'll need adjustable panhard bars if I add them, correct me if i'm wrong! I ran out of time doing the spindles today, so here's the worst flex shot you'll ever see:

the wheel actually is a really clean OEM design but doesnt fit the vehicle at all.

at least you didnt get the 24" in chrome!

The wheels would look nice, if they where 17s.

To much wheel, to little tire. Plus the "cali-lift" doesn't work for me.

Agreed. Way too much for my tastes. They remind me of BMW wheels. But hey, as long as you like them....

I'll at least give props on the matching silver finish vs chrome.

Got my rims and 285s installed

Happy. To finally have my rims and tires on the rig. This is what a 4runner should look like.
It still rubs at lock when flexing but I'll take more off the body mount before I plate it.
I think the American racing ar172 baja look great.

Who here is running the Cooper ST Maxx? Looking at them in 295/70/17 but would like some feedback first. Rain, snow, road noise, overall handling?

Who here is running the Cooper ST Maxx? Looking at them in 295/70/17 but would like some feedback first. Rain, snow, road noise, overall handling?

I currently run them in 255/80r17 on my 4th gen and I’ve had nothing but good things to say about them in all conditions
I had them on for the majority of winter when I was living in northern Maine last year and combined with my full time 4wd the only time I was really ever “super cautious” driving was when I had to slow down or turn on pure ice, I had some roads I drove on 50+mph and they were just hard packed snow without a single problem
They do wander a bit at highway speeds in heavy Florida rain but if you just slow down a touch to 60~65 I’ve never felt unsafe at that speed in most rain storms
Road noise is noticeable but not terrible by any means, when I talk on Bluetooth in my car, the person on the other end can’t hear the tire hum
Compared to the Nitto terra grapplers I had on my old vehicle these are a night and day difference and I will probably keep buying these for a long time
