Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

What's good guys , I am a new-b here from So Cal .. I own an 06 V6 4runner I put together with various parts for a budget build all bought off Offerup.. not kidding .. everything from the truck itself, to Toyota 2013 touch screen stereo mod, yakima roof rack , nerf steps, to led headlights and rigid armor swing down tire mount all sourced on offerup.

But back to topic... I really like the lift so far but it's bugging me a lil because it's not completely even/level. Here are my current parts and specs;

Front: 4x4 2022 Taco TRD shocks with KSP 1" Leveling kit/spacer

Rear: 4600 bilstein with shock spacer and unknown springs from an 07 FJ "not stock". I think the springs are 1.5" or 2" springs.

After install:
front L/R, 24" from hub to fender.

Rear L/R, 23" from hub to feder

I really want to level the rear to match the front and go bigger on the tires. Anyone have suggestions? I just picked up daystar comfortride 1.5 rear spacer and buddy gave me a set of used 40k miles bilstein 5100 rears with a set of 5100 fronts with arb springs .. fronts need new top hat and top bushings. The rear 5100 shocks are in better shape. I'm thinking of removing 4600 and replacing them with 5100 rears adding the 1.5 daystar rear spacers. Also looking to go bigger tires without cutting or major mods....Any advice/suggestions?? I'm new here so any advise would be helpful

Here are a few pics of my taco fronts with 1" spacer and rear 4600 with shock spacer.. also pics of the front 5100 w/arb coils, rear 5100 and daystar 1.5 spacers i just picked up.. im thinking g of swapping the 5100 rears and adding the daystar spacer to lift the rear .. also last pics are the coils im running .. wasn't sure what brand or lift they had since fam member gave them to me pulled them from his fj he bought.. shop said looked like 2" ..I know it's low budge build but working with what i got till i can get a good setup.. new here so any advice would help

From what I have seen you will be warranting them out in a year or two

Yeah, they had rusted out in a bout a year, and didnt notice any changes when turning the knob to adjust the dampening lol

Just picked up a black 2003 V8 Limited. It has stock 17” rims on it, with some newer tires and stock suspension.

Looking to swap out for some black rims and get a lift kit, any advice? I want some wheels with negative offset to get a more aggressive look.

Leave me some pictures/advice or good looking rims/reliable suspension I should consider.

Love the look of yours. My 2007 has 2.3"/2" suspension lift with Bilstein 1500s. I still have the stock tires on as I had to buy tires immediately when I got it 4 years ago and couldn't do a lift yet. Need new tires soon and looking to get 265/70/R17 like you have with replica TRD wheels. I don't want big tires I just want to fill in the lift a little. Those tires ar eonly 1" bigger but hopefully the bigger sidewall going from 18"to 17" helps them look bigger.

Loving the adjustability; the installation was straightforward, and once dialed in, the ride is great! Minor rubbing when in reverse. Rear mud flaps rub at full flex. The suspension is dirty... that's cuz it's used.

Bilstein 5100s with a 2.5 in lift in the front and 1.5 in OME springs in the back. Wheels are method 703s and tires are falken rubitreks

Hello! First post. I have a 2006 4runner V6 that is surviving New York rust. I recently added the Rough Country 2 inch lift kit (front and back) and the KYB Strut Plus Complete to add an additional 1.5 inch lift to the front, plus the KYB Excel-G shocks. The tires are GoodYear Wrangler Duratrak on the factory 17 inch rims.
I tried to do the work myself in my gravel driveway but everything was too rusted. I took it to a local shop and they charged me $228 to do the shocks, struts, lift kit, and linkages that I supplied. I was stoked!! My hood is now taller than my wife's Hummer H3!

They charged you way more than$228, don't lie. I do this for a living!
