IS_350 said:I'm with you completely!! I too am just looking for 1-1.25" lift. I can't make sense of the Daystar issue either, but am hoping someone on this forum will pipe up and tell us whether it's actually 1" material AND whether they got 1" or 2" lift after install.
The part number I keep coming accross for the 1" Daystar lift is DAYKT09117BK. Does that sound right to you? 4wheelparts sells it for about $38 +shipping and advertises it as a 1" lift (calling it the "ComfortRide Suspension Strut Kit")...not sure what happened to the Budget Boost name that others keep talking about.
I'm also eyeing wheelersoffroad 1.25" Daystar leveler (same price as the 1" from 4wheelparts), although wheelersoffroad doesn't provide a part number and that makes me a little nervous. I like the fact that the photo of their part is actually black compared to the generic photo red spacers that most others use.
We'll figure this out soon enough hopefully. I just ordered 5 265/70/17's from NTB today, and they should be arriving in 2-3 days for install. At this point it looks like I'll have the tires on first then the lift, meaning I'll have to bring it back for an alignment.
Like I said in the other thread The pic daystar displays for their KT09117BK 1" BUDGET BOOST, is showing part # M03532.
That part # is the same one that comes as part of the complete old style 2.5/1.5.
M03532 is a 1" thick topout spacer.
