Lift Kit, Rims, and Tires

I'm a new member to this forum, however I have always looked at it for advice on my new 4runner. I just purchased a 2010 4runner Limited. I want get a 3inch lift kit, rims and tires but I've never done this before. I'm looking at a Toytec FJ CRUISER/4RUNNER ULTIMATE 3" LIFT PACKAGE.

FJ Cruiser/4Runner Ultimate 3" lift package

In combination I want to get new rims and tires but I am not sure how to size those with the lift.

Please let me know what you guys think, thank you.

1st Welcome to the forum and all the information you could ever want to know about a 4runner (and some you don't) can be found searching. There are threads dedicated to lifts, tires etc. If you run across something specific that isn't answered feel free to post up and we will help out however we can.

the best thing to do is spend some time (lots) going through the lift thread: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/65893-post-your-lifted-pix-here.html

make notes. save bookmarks. take your time. there's lots to choose from and what's "best" is pretty subjective.

Spend your money wisely. I would go ICON as far as suspension. Best suspension for the price IMO

god forbid someone actually pits forth effort to help themselves.... we might have to gid rid of welfare if that started happening
 
Read, read and read some more. This forum has TONS of usefull info if you spend some time looking and researching. Plus, its fun to learn about your new ride. Enjoy!
 
I have a question for you guys, I have a 2004 SR5 V8. I have 16" factory rims and stock suspension. I'm wanting to know what size of tire I can get without rubbing? I'm looking for a Mud/Snow, lots of dirt roads.

Any ideas? I'm not too worried about a body or suspension lift, just wanting to put bigger aggressive shoes on her.

go check the 4th gen section... many stickies that can answer your questions.
