Lift Kits and Stock Tire Size..Any Pictures?

I've been looking to do a 3" front and 2-1/2" rear spacer lift kit on my 04 Runner. I'm debating if I'm going to upsize my tires as well. Also with money being a factor I will have to do the lift first and then later on get the new tires, either stock 265/65/17 or upsize to 265/70. So I might being running around looking kind of funny.

I was wondering if anybody has any pictures they could post that shows their rig with the lift and stock 265/65/17 tires on it so I can see how it looks. I want to see if it looks stupid and too much space between the wheel wells? My main concern is the speedo and everything being off.

Candygram!! Just one of the skits that stuck in my head. The Cornfed lift I ordered is 3" front and 2" rear from Burtman Industries. I've heard the product is great (will let you know in a couple days) but the people at Burtman Industries are great. I just spoke to Jason today and he was very helpful. Let us know how it goes and send some pics of the finished product!

I didn't think anything else had to be changed out. I believe you could still use the stock shocks and would not have to extend the brake lines. Or is this only for the XREAS systems?

Do you have any bigger and better pictures then your sig pic? It's kinda dark and hard to see. My runner is also white so I would get the perfect idea from yours. It would be nice to see full side shots of the runner, up close of the wheel wells, up close showing the full tires and the spacing, also it would be great to see what kind of ground clearance you have. More pictures the better!! thanks! I know it's a lot to ask.

Cornfed only makes one lift 3" F / 2" R.

I have full size pics but need someone to host them.

With a 3" lift don't you think longer shocks are in order? You will have limited travel on extension of the shock comapred to stock.

With 3" spacer lift in the front, nothing else is needed. However if you're doing 2" or more in the back you'll need longer traveling shocks and brakeline extensions. If you ever get into a situation where you get some good flex on the rear suspension, you could be looking at damaged shocks and/or stretched or broken brake lines.

I have the Revtek kit and after doing the install it was obvious to me that these items were needed. I go wheeling a lot and get enough flex on the rear suspension to stack another tire in the wheel well. If you plan on doing any wheeling at all I would highly advise longer shocks and brakeline extension.

I'm interesting in close look of your front and rear lift kit elements, gaps between top of the wheel and fenders. Also some vehicle images like front, 3/4, back will be great.
