I am loving the mild lift on your Pro! I also like how beefy the 255/80s look too, but it might be too high for my truck to pull into the garage since I have a Gobi rack. Do you know the total height from the ground to the shark fin antenna after the 1.5/1 lift? I think I am cutting it very close assuming if I have 275/70s!

I'm changing my tyres to 285/70/17 coming from 265/70/17. will the leveling kit work fine if 95% of the time it will run on street/hwy? I'm just going for the aggressive look. I'm really trying to avoid shocks/suspension since it will be just a mall crawler or curb princess. Another note how would be the handling be like vibration and noise? better or worse or just about the same? Thank you.

If it's a pro, you'll need a 1.5" front to fit those sizes, or a non pro 2" front. No need to change shocks/springs

I have 255/80r17 ST MAXX's on my SR5 with stock suspension. The only rub I had was with the wheel cranked all the way to the right/left while reversing. got rid of that with a minor trim of some plastic in the front of the wheel well.
Good to know! I’ve heard of a few people fitting the 225/80 St Maxx on stock suspension but the rubbing reviews seem mixed. Seems like it’s almost vehicle specific. After your report I’m thinking I should have no issues!

Your gas mileage will not be affected much if at all with a 1" leveling kit. At most maybe like .1 or .2 mpg, but I doubt it.
Most of the time, when it comes to minor rubbing, it is vehicle specific, but I can tell you that with the skinny 33's (255/80r17) you should not have to do any BMC or any major cutting. At most just a trim of some plastic. I would do it, but then again, I already have. Lol. Keep in mind that your wheel offset will affect rubbing as well. Just something else to remember.

when doing the leveling kit I believe 1" rear and 2" front can the stock shocks be used on the rear and is a alignment recommended.

Just installed the 1" leveling kit on my 2016 TE (non-KDSS):
Did this by myself in 1 hour and 45 minutes from the time I took the tools out of the box to the time I put them back.
Hardest part was removing the 3rd coil-over mounting bolt closest to the engine. Just had to use an open-ended wrench with very short throws.
I unbolted the sway bar from both the frame and the bar link from the upper control arm.
Removing the coil-over by myself was tricky, but I rested my torso over the wheel hub and bounced a little and was able to get it free.
Very easy kit to install!
Before on top, After on bottom.

Yes, these kits are made to work with all stock components and shocks. No worries.
Alignment is recommended, but I've had numerous people that knew they're truck was properly aligned beforehand tell me that they DIDN'T do an alignment and then later said when they checked it, it was still good. So, if you really need peace of mind, you can get one done, or just monitor your tires to see they are wearing evenly every 5k-10k miles

Installed the 1.5/1 CF spacers. The lift is just perfect. Not too high and meaner than stock height. You are the man Jason! Even with stock size tires, it turned out nice!

Just ordered 1.5" up front for my '18 Pro to pair with the Wheelers T13 coils in the rear. Once installed, I'll post up a pic. Jason is easy to work with and quick to respond!

Haha ...ok man...you wont having any issue finding info on aggressive tires amongst these folks... just make sure you read the sticky "tire fitment guide" before you say anything...otherwise, your life will be forfeit
