Lift spacers for X-REAS and tire size

I know there are lots of thread on this topic, but none that I found really dealing with my situation. I want to lift the front to level it out. I've seen several other posts with various combination's of lifts and I really like the way they all look. After seeing all the pics of T4R's leveled out, my squatty front end just bugs me now.

Since I have X-REAS and I definitely don't want to get rid of it...I believe, I need to lift using spacers. After reading many posts on the subject, I still have a couple questions:

I've been looking at the 1" Daystars and the 2.5" Daystars and the Cornfed 1", but I don't know which will give me the most even look. Will all front spacers have a doubling effect? (1" spacer give 2" of actual lift)? I don't really get that part?

Is there a quality difference that I should be considering, between the poly and the aluminum?

Since I have rear air suspension, I'm not going to worry about lifting the rear. It sounds like the rear can be done, but I think it's more than I want to deal with. I might eventually try and adjust the rear air sensors a bit higher if I need to.

I will eventually put a little bigger tires on (I only have about 10k on these tires). They were brand new when I bought the truck and unfortunately I didn't pick them - oh well. I currently have P265/60R18 tires. I've seen lots of 17" tires size reccomendations but no 18" suggestions. I'd be curious how big you think I can go with just the front lift and my existing rims?

I like the daystar a lot for what it is, eventually when I get stationed back stateside I am going to run a toytec or icon coilover system but for now the daystar spacers get the job done.

I am not 100% on this but from everything I read whatever size the spacer is should double to equal the amount of lift you will get.

Anyways I would recommend the daystar leveling kit for you.

1" front lift will help level the truck, but it will still be nose down. If you want it completely even, and don't tow anything heavy, you can get a 2" spacer to make your truck dead level. A 1.5" lift will be a perfect balance of the 2. If you get the Daystar lift that advertises 2" it will only give you 1.5" because they falsify the information. I'd look into one of those.

That is a really nice look 4runnerfourplay. My only regret with my new 4runner is that I didn't get it in black. I miss my black 99.

So, is your lift 2.5" in the front AND 2.5" in the back?

I believe some members on here have them, but I'm not sure where they got them from. You could always get the 1.25" kit from here:

I also recommend wheel spacers to help the appearance of your truck. Ever notice how it looks like your truck is sucking your tires inside the fenders? SpiderTrax will bring the tires out flush with the fender.

Spacers

Can someone post a pic of there 4th gen spacer? I'm wondering if I can use my 3rd gen spacers I have left over. Not sure if these 3/8 inch top spacers will give me any noticable lift. They are aluminum.

I've been looking at the Cornfed 1",

I can have them made in any size you want, BUT, I wouldf't go over 1.5" front with xreas and the rear air suspension option. Anymore will cause it to compensate and can cause problems.

I have a custom .75 front spacer kit which gave me 1.5" lift which is almost level......i wouldnt want anything higher unless you lift front and back.

Thanks, so that is all you have on your runner for lift .. no aftermarket springs or anything? Stock tires?

BOne stock for now.....but yeppers In the picture all you see is stock truck with spacer lift in front.

Actually I found that while the Daystar Lifts do incorrectly tell you how much they will lift, the front lift is always more than advertised, the rear is what is less than advertised.
I had the 2in front lift which gave me about 2.25 in front. I swapped it out for the 2.5 lift which is supposed to be 1.5 in the rear. This gave me just less than 3 inches in the front, but the rear (which was supposed to be 2in) only gave me 1.5 in. So I think you are misunderstanding which of daystars spacers net less than advertised lift.
To answer the OP question I would go with the daystar to keep the xreas.
