Light Bar Interest? Anyone want one?

Easily... I don't think easily. But it could be done. You would basically have to cut part of my mount off and weld to the top of the CBI hitch mount... I couldn't do it without having everything in my shop.
You could buy both, and pay someone to cut and weld it. Anyone with basic fab skills could do it. That said I won't make any promises. Like I said, unless I had them all in front of me, it'd hard to tell for certain.

I'm interested in the tube option with tabs for 7" lights like in the photo you posted of the Tacoma.
If the tabs are costly to mfg and weld on I can make my own no problem. I've been hunting for something like this recently. $150 is just cheap enough to keep me from trying to do this myself. Thanks for taking the time to make this. I'm glad there is a lot of interest.

i helped a gut install another companies light bar and i looked at my cbi hitch. there are 2 things you would have to do.
one is likely cut all the bolts off the frame and put in longer ones
and second the light bar mounts would not fit over my cbi mount because of the size of the welds. all could be made to work together but it would take some time

Hey Stellar - Welcome to Denver!
Just watch out for tight parallel parking areas like Capital Hill and around apartment complexes. I had a 2nd gen with a brush guard and lights mounted low, I had to park by an apartment complex near 12th and Santa Fe and those lights would get bent about once a week.
Bad parkers here for sure. No B.S., I have parked strangers cars for them after watching them struggle
I agree with you two. Ideally for me I'd like to have tabs off of the bottom tube for the LED bar setup so it can provide protection for the light bar.
Something somewhat similar to the positioning of the upper light bar in this picture is what I'm thinking.

Last time I shipped these, the tube version was between $20 and $30 on average. Not too bad really. Denver from ABQ, should be cheap!

Ya I was thinking some folks would want that. I will have tabs available to mount bars in this config. Just tell me how far apart you want them, and if you want them clocked back or straight and I can do that no problem. We will nail down details once I start taking orders!

These are the bars I am modeling off of. Standard CREE 30" bar from Amazon. 30.7" wide at the mounting points. If anyone has a preferred source please let me know, I want to make sure they are designed to fit bars that most are using. The Rigid ones are different measurements, but I don't see as many people running them as the higher cost...

That's perfect! I have that light bar mounted to my bumper now, so moving it to the bar would work out great!
That bar looks great! Pending space there is also the 32" bar. Personally I'd be happy with either as long as it could fill up the space between the gussets. *Assuming there will be gussets on the face like in the first picture off the blue Tacoma

I'm definitely interested on the smaller option if you can make some brackets that bolt in to stock locations and mount stealth behind the bumper/grille area. I would buy one for sure!

Man there is a ton of interest here, I better deliver haha. I am going to make templates one day this week, and I hope to have something for you guys soon. My biggest roadblock is we are just busy with the baby, and I will be leaving CA to go back to NM next week. But the 4th gen will be staying here in CA until 1st week 0f Feb... So I am doing my best to get this all sorted out for you guys. Worst case, I will be ready for you beginning of feb, hopefully sooner. Might just need to have one of you guys be a test subject... Anyone in ABQ?

This looks great, especially if it mounts to a stock location somehow. Can I get one for my 2002 Silverado also?

I'm very interested in these. To be honest I like the first, larger option the best, but I don't think I want to drop the $400ish on a light bar. I like the idea of the 30" led bar on the tube option, I think the higher mounting points for the light will be the best for light output.
