Which front bumper for my 2011 T4R?

CBI or Demello? Demello is the black one...CBI the unfinished.

Yes...I have narrowed it down to just those two. Price is virtually the same (and they look similar).

I'm a spaz and can't figure out how to add a second pic. Here is the CBI.

I think the Demello wings look better and prefer the round tubes. That said, reviews indicate both are well built. I would see if DO would mind not cutting their "DO" into the bumper, not a huge fan of branding.

is it me, or are those cut lines on the Demello build way off? Cut lines of the stock bumper, is what i mean.

I vote CBI.

CBI ALL DAY! Just look at all the bad reviews Demello has been getting. They're selling bumpers they can't fill. You'll see people are waiting upwards of 3+ months to get their bumper.

they both look a lot alike, and i know i have seen someone here who ordered a CBI with round tubes instead of flat, which makes them look even more alike. to reiterate what Engineer said, i like the extra chamfer on the Demello bumper "wings" where the CBI is flat across the front, and would request the "DO" just be cut as a trapezoidal hole above the winch like the CBI bumper.

to throw a wrench in things, maybe also consider the hefty fabworks front bumpers, tho i think they are more expensive. below is a 2010-13 version from comtn4x4 and 2014+ version from 4Running303 also with these i would request they make the filler plate underneath sans the "hefty fabworks" cutout, especially in that god awful font...

like codyHTX i will throw another wrench in the mix... addicted offroad.

arguably the best clearance front bumper one can buy for the 5th gen 4runner besides the roktek that i think only one person purchased. LInk for reference

looks great, easy access to a winch, HIGH clearance, great lines. I would buy that one, but if you are SET on one of the two you put up then flip a coin already because i think they are both "meh"

:hippie:

I love my hefty. Mine is aluminum but the steel looks the same. But talking about time frames they are quoting 14-16 weeks for delivery on their website so Demello doesn't seem bad.... And I am sure Chris will do it without the Logo. I ordered mine over last winter so it wasn't as much of an issue but it definetly wasn't that long. I know his business has gone crazy

I like the look of the center portion of the CBI that surrounds the grille on the Runner. The DO looks like it is set in too far. Another reason for the CBI is I don't like in your face logos or branding. The CBI logo is down low, where it should be in my opinion.

26 respondents....it was 60/40 in favor of CBI. I just pulled the trigger on the CBI. Thank you for the help deciding.
