Hey fourrun, looks great. How did you black out your chrome? I wrapped some of mine but not sure if I have the skills to do the front around the fog lights or the roof rack.

Did you or a local shop put on that Gobi rack? I'm really wanting to pull the trigger on one, my main concern is the install. Truck looks great by the way. Let me know if you and a group end up doing some trails as I'd love to go too!!

So I did have a shop install it. But when I sold it, a buddy and I took it off and installed it on his. It was super easy. Definitely wouldn't pay someone to do it now that I know how easy it is.

For the chrome I plasti dipped it using 4 coats of matte black, the 3 coats of Rustoleum Graphite Dip to give it that slight shine. I don't think the front is that difficult, you just have to spend some time taping it right. I wish I had a pic when it was fully taped, but below you'll see it started. For the roof rack, I took off the covers with a plastic wedge and then applied the same coats as the front. Here's the video I used to remove the covers, pretty easy. https://youtu.be/HVeuXVOmKbw

Thanks! I have some cans of plastidip that I was planning on using for the roof rack covers so may try the front as well. Will keep your pics as a reference.
