yeah 16 limited, oem geolanders. you arent by chance in the dc area? I saw a 4runner a while back off king st with sequoia wheels and k02s, but cant remember if it was a limited or not.

Thought I'd pass this along that I noticed these tube steps on the For Sale thread and the seller is in Dallas. These are the same style as my tube steps.

Thanks for looking out! I saw the post earlier and already arranged to pick them up tomorrow.
Now debating whether to go the oem rocker route or cut them up...

Good to hear you noticed the ad and snagged them!
To help give you an idea of how it looked here's a link to 2ndChance's build on his Limited when he cut up the rocker panels to fit the same tube steps. But he ultimately went with the oem lower rocker panel

I ended up cutting mine for right now. You do loose some of the depth if you use it for a step.

Finally had a free weekend to do a few mods.
Installed the rocky mounts 14er basket and it looks smaller than I thought but it's growing on me.
Also removed the Limited rockers and running boards. Replaced them with the tubular steps I picked up a few weeks back. I'm really liking the look of these and the fact that there's less chrome now.
I'm going to run with naked rockers for now as the look doesn't bother me. Maybe in the future I will add the new non limited rocker panel.

Shrockworks makes a rocker panel trim kit that you might want to take a look at: Trail Edition Rocker Trim, 5th Gen 4Runner.
I'm running that kit on mine. First, it's powder coated steel which is great. Second, it lets you run running boards and sliders that fit the Trail edition. That gives you higher ground clearance off-road than the SR5/Limited.
I wish I had done that. I elected to go with the OPOR sliders made specifically for the Limted. At the time I still had my XREAS suspension. I have lost about 3" because I can't hug the sliders up too close to the body due to the Limited's rockers. With my 2/1.5" lift I am about break even to stock height w/ no sliders. I may still try to swap out to the Shrockworks rockers but I am not sure if the OPOR Limited vers rock sliders will hug up as close to the non-Limited vers.
How hard was it to swap out the rockers? How long did it take?

I have the OPOR sliders as well, but I bought the Trail version because I knew I'd be ditching the rockers.
My swap job was more difficult than average because I had the power running boards to deal with. With that, the rocker and running board are all one piece and awkward to manage because of the weight.
Regular rockers and steps should be dead simple. The Shrockworks trim kit is easy to install.
EDIT: The Limited/SRV sliders are built to work with those model's rocker panels. If you want to go higher, you have to go to Trail sliders and then do something with the rocker panels to let them fit.

Taking off the rocker panel and running boards took 5 minutes max. Super easy to do.
I would sell the opor sliders and buy new non limited once you remove the rocker panel.
The trim [MENTION=809]fattire[/MENTION] was talking about is sold with the shrockworks sliders at a discount if you decide to go that route. Keeping the limited sliders without the rocker panel would look funny IMO.
