Nice install!

Had some time to myself yesterday after going to the dealership for my 35k service and decided to take some pictures of my LE

I put the daystar 2.5/1.5 kit on my black 14' Limited and have been conflicted whether 275/55/20 was going to be a wide enough/tall enough tire. Your pics satisfied me, because they look perfect on your truck! I hope my 20x9 0 offset wheels on-order will resemble the backspacing of your spidertrack spacers right near the fender. Thanks!

Cronfed 1.5 x 2. Spider trac spacers. Wild peek 275x20s on stock rims. I had to do a small amount of fender trimming but everything fits and I believe looks great. Just wanted to post for anyone else searching stock 20's or tire size for the leveling kit as I did a month or so ago.

Nice looking LE! How much fender trimming did you have to do? After I had the spidertrax installed, the tires rubbed left and right while going forward and back. After I did the heat gun mod on the front fender lining, it solved the rubbing when going forward but still get rubbing on both directions when backing up.. think it's the plastic piece the mudguards attach to. Not yet ready to trim that piece off just yet!

Hi supratt,

How's your truck looking? Did you go for the same tire size on daystar 2.5/1.5? I only have the front end Toytec 1" levelling kit installed on mine. These are also GY Duratracs hence the wider stance

I get just a small amount of rub in reverse either direction just as you. It's not enough for me to keep cutting, since this is the wife's ride and we will absolutely do no off roading I can live with it. I think I will let the tires wear out the hit spots and call it a day. I was most worried about the tread grabbing a plastic piece and causing a big mess, but with the trimming and clearance I see it should not be a problem.

The rims will be in next week. I will post some pics once they get mounted. Ya I decided to play it safe with the 275/55 Cooper Zeon LTZ's. I had a 3rd gen with big heavy tires last time and the ride sucked, rubbing was everywhere and the fuel mileage was terrible. Fingers crossed it looks right in the wheel well.

Had a 2.5" Daystar lift, 20" Rockstar 2, 275X60R20 TERRA Grappler2. The front isnt leveled with the rear, its bugging me a bit, but oh well.

Doesn't look too bad from the pictures. You will be happy when you are loaded with camping gear and people.

Put some Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/55R20's on today with 20x9 0 offset wheels. What a difference. Everyone was right on about it being more planted on the road, not to mention it looks like a truck now.

Put a 2.5/1.5 leveling kit on a few weeks back and am super happy exactly the way it sits. Of course I wanted to go bigger and more aggressive as we always do but even with this setup I get a slight rub on the mudflap with the wheels full lock in reverse. No complaints though.

Now to do something about those ugly running boards...

Why did you pick the limited? What was the feature(s)?

Full-time 4WD. Anything missing that the other models have can be added after the fact on the Limited with the exception of KDSS.

My personal opinion is that KDSS is cool and generally works well, but it is a fairly complex system. Complex systems tend to fail in complex (and usually expensive) ways. That's not something I wanted to deal with now or down the road (see what I did there?).

As always YMMV.
