What's everyone getting for gas mileage?

I have the full time 4WD w/ 255 75R17 Cooper AT3s and am getting 14 mpg on average.

I'd like to get more aggressive tires but the ST Maxx tires I want weigh 10 lbs more per tire. I'm concerned what that will do to my gas mileage which already sucks. I do 95% city driving.

What's your gas mileage, what tires do you run, and what kind of driving?

A modded 4Runner just doesn't seem like an ideal daily driver. When I get mine, I expect to keep it parked except in bad weather and for traveling.

My mistake, I see you wouldn't want to use as a daily driver but use it for more recreational/off-road use.

I just picked my limited a month ago and although it was pricey I love driving it around all the time.

Dash display says 16mpg after the lift and tires, but I haven't done any re-calibration of the odometer/speedometer.

Should have a more accurate picture after a couple tanks in Fuelly. (<-- check there for more examples)

My Scanguage II shows 13.5 in the city and about 17 on freeway @ 70 mph. I have 12 ply rated E BFG KO2 275/70R17s weighing about 55lbs each. I also have a 2/1.5 lift and a Gobi Rack. I am fairly conservative on the the pedal.

Where did you find those 19mm spacers? The only ones that I've seen have been 1.25" (so around 33mm). Also, can you post a pic of your 4R from front or back, so we can see the stance? I'm looking at getting the same size tires and want to add spacers. I'm curious as to how those 19mm spacers look with those tires. Thanks

Where did you find those 19mm spacers? The only ones that I've seen have been 1.25" (so around 33mm). Also, can you post a pic of your 4R from front or back, so we can see the stance? I'm looking at getting the same size tires and want to add spacers. I'm curious as to how those 19mm spacers look with those tires. Thanks

That stance looks great. It makes me think that a 1.25" spacer would have the wheels sticking out too far.

Maybe someone with the 1.25" spacer and 275 tires on the Limited wheels can post pics!

Yep, that’s where I got mine. I’m pretty picky about mods on my vehicles after good and bad experiences over the last 35 years or so. Was very satisfied with the fit, finish and results using this brand of 19mm spacer. Track width ( to me ) looks perfect. Debris from tires are still covered by mud guards and wheels inside of fender wells.

Finally able to post up pics after my rack and ladder install.

Quick tip: lure a friend over with a beer or two... it makes the installation so much easier.

Am I reading the description correct. Do you have to buy your own nuts for the spacer to hub?

Every thing you need to install the spacers is included. That being four spacers and twenty four conical nuts to install spacers to hubs. You’ll need to apply locktite to factory studs. I like to use sleeve locker ( the green stuff ) .
