When driving my limited on new concrete highways with approximately two inch grooves running in the direction of the lane, my truck is all over the road. This type of concrete roads are in some new highways in Washington State with my experience on I90. The rig has Toyo Geolander tires. For all other roads including snow and ice it appears fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem. It occurs between 50 and 65 mph. I have not taken it over 65 yet since still breaking it in. For me this is a real safety concern. My old 4-runners go over this section of highway just fine.

Sounds like tramlining. Certain tires have a tendency to track and follow grooves in the roadway. This phenomina is called tramlining. This may be further supported by the fact that you are not experiencing any abnormal driving/handling carateristics on roads missing the grooves.
I am familair with the grooves along I-90 and other roads. I never really understood why those were there other than to try and provide additional traction for that lane, or concrete expansion. But why have them only in the right lane?
Edit: A quick search on the Limited Geolanders did not bring up any reviews of the tire to see if any reports of tramlining by owners.

We get that here on some bridges with metal grating instead of concrete. You should try it on a motor bike.

I drive on the 90 from the 405 to Snoqualmie Pass and I don't have that issue. Granted, I'm in a TE with KDSS and Duratracs. but I don't think it's the 4Runner so much as the tires.
My actual experience is between milepost 70 and 74 on 90 near Roslyn going west in the right lane. It is brand new concrete roadway done this year with small groves in it by design. I do not have issues with the west side of the pass. More weird is my old 2004 sport 4-Runner's does not have the issue at all, but they are Bridgestone REVOs. My limited is 2011 with 20" wheels and the Geolander tires.

Its the tires. In Albuquerque there is a lot of overpasses with this type of concrete. Also around here they will sometimes grind the road down long before they pave. When they do that it is like times 10. I don't remember if the stock dunlops did it but the yoko ats I had, after the dunlops, did it bad. The new hankook rf10s don't seem to do it and neither do the bfg at's on my other truck.
Well I have the Yoko on my Limited and it really is a safety hazard. The truck is all over the road and you must go below 30mph before it is controllable. Not something you want to do on a freeway. Are there any other folks out there with the 20" yoko Geolander tires that have driven their truck over this type of concrete.

I also have the 20" Geolanders and they get crazy on certain types of grooved concrete. The worst place is the Midtown Tunnel & worse yet it is only 2 lanes opposing traffic. Average speed is 45 (yikes)
Lucky for me , I guess, we don't have much grooved pavement in the Virginia Beach / Norfolk area. We just have lots of potholes & no maintenance whatsoever to cut anymore grooves.
