Limited wheels and tires for better on road handling?

Since the 4r is the wife's run around vehicle and it'll only go off-road occasionally I'm wondering if you can put on some 20" limited wheels to improve the handling on road.

Anyone try this?

Thoughts?

I went the other way but you might better off getting better shocks (likely the bilsteins like everyone else). The reason I say that is that when I went from the 20's to the SR5 17's I noticed almost no change in handling, granted I also went to a LT tire with a stiffer sidewall but I'd speculate there is more flex in that sidewall then the metal in the 20 inch wheel. My guess is that the Xreas shocks were the real reason behind the handling, I definitely noticed a little more body roll when I lifted and took out the Xreas shocks. I'm sure it helps to increase the wheel but would speculate the new shocks would be a better way to spend that money.

Someone with technical knowledge could probably tell you more...

Describe what is wrong with the handling now. Does it wander around? .... wheels/tires won't fix that.

And, what does "off-road" mean to you?
