Limited wheels/tires off-load

So...when I get my Limited, what is the best way to sell those 20" wheels and tires? Is it just the obvious (Craigslist, Ebay, etc) or is there some other source for buyers of such things?

What are they typically worth?

Also - Do 17" wheels with bigger/taller rubber net you the same height?

I want it to be slightly taller if anything and I need to read-up on what spacers can be used without hosing the XREAS as well.

SgnDen - I think you will enjoy the Limited and find that it meets your needs.

I used the want ads for this forum and sold my rims without the TPMS sensors. Check out the ads and you will find that rim/tire combos have been selling for a wide range of prices. I sold my rims on the low side for $350 as I was more interested in moving them than making money. I sold them to another forum member. If we couldn't make a deal, they were headed to CL for a reasonable $500.

The tires went to Discount Tire for $95 each. If I remember correctly, my 17's (stock size) ended up being about the same height as my 20's. Not a big difference in height.

As far as spacers, Daystar makes a lift that works with the XREAS. According to Daystar's website the lift allows 32" tires. Daystar's lift is in my 4Runner's future.

Maybe you can work out a deal with the dealer to swap your 20's for some SR5 or Trail wheels and tires.
