Line-X Spray on protective coating

Has anyone had any experiences with Line-X sprayed on coatings on their bumpers and or wheel flares and rocker panels. Do you think it is worth the price?

I know some guys on the F150 site did it on their lower panel areas and some even had the color matched. One thing for sure-it won't chip. Costs vary. I had the entire bed, tailgate and sides done on a 5 1/2 bed and it was around $400. That's a lot of LineX because the sides of an F150 bed are really tall.

Check out CamoLiner - Extreme Bed Liners - they use a Kevlar reinforced spray that is awesome. I worked with them on a 'special' project that I had done earlier this year (see picture of 10 foot surfboard I had done). As soon as I can I'm going to have him spray my bumpers, rocker panels, fenders, etc.... a little darker gray to offset the silver.

Jason, the owner of the shop is a firefighter here in Denton, TX and is awesome to work with. If anyone decides to get some work done over there, tell him the guy w/ the surfboard sent ya....

Sorry for the larger than life picture.

Yeah the Line-X extra also has the kevlar and color match. I am thinking of having the ARB bull bar done. Not sure what color yet. Match the truck or a contrasting color.

My wife's dad used the long-board in Hawaii when he was stationed there years ago. It was in horrible condition when we got it and would have cost thousands to restore, we wanted to keep it, just didn't know what to do with it - found this guy in Denton. It's now hanging in the game room, just above the pool table (of course it has Longhorn color felt)....

I just had my fender liners and rocker panel Line-X. It has a bit of a sparkly reflection to it which I don't like as much as the flat black look before, but at least they will be nearly indestructible now. The fender liner plastic is rather soft and scratches up very easy.

I like that. Mine were shiny as well on my FJ, so I used some flat black spray paint and put a few coats on them. Worked great.
