I'm working in Washington as a finance/legal analyst at a law firm. MBA or JD or both somewhere down the road I think is the plan as of now, though it could always change..

I'm the awesome that happened for a couple of Colorado Springs Hillbillies and the little boy with them last weekend. Nice enough guys, but...
Pike National Forest, late Sunday Morning, 20 miles down a dirt road. Their mess of a Tacoma Pickup wouldn't start. Sure, I'll give you a jump start. Numb nuts attaches positive to negative and negative to positive. Fortunately, no damage to my rig.
Headlight nice and bright with my battery. Def getting juice. Turn the key... nothing. Rap the starter motor while turning the key. Nothing.
"Oh yeah," number one says, "the dash gauges don't light up."
I figure out it might be the ignition switch. Remove some dash panels. Trace switch wires to plug. slapdappy McGyver has the complete FSM and Wiring diagrams on his iPhone. I figure which 2 of the 6 are the ignition wires, jump 'em with a little wire which I secure with a zip tie.... ignition, contact, engine turns over!
Won't start. Ok, back to step 1 and start with the basics. Check the fuses. Okie number two cleverly swaps EFI relay with another relay to eliminate this as a cause. It isn't. The EFI fuse under the hood is blown, replace, 3-2-1 ... contact ... ignition ... lift off!
They would have had to get a ride 20 miles out to the main road, another minimum 10 miles to the nearest garage, which wouldn't have been open on a Sunday, hired a tow truck to make the 60 mile minimum retrieval round trip, hung around until Monday, paid xx$ for whatever diagnosis and repair the local mechanic came up then lingered while waiting for whatever parts to get there.
The smartest thing I did was getting his phone number in case I left something in his truck - leatherman, sunglasses, whatever.
I was Batman McGuyver A-Team.
Question now is, to what downfall will my hubris lead?
