Little Car Audio Mod

I had an idea for a little car audio mod. I got a flush mount adapter for a 3.5mm jack off ebay for a few bucks because I like the idea of them being more finished and clean looking. I decided to tinker a little with a spare place holder since I had one from J.A.'s footwell mod. It is very rough draft, but I plan on cleaning it up. This involved shaving down the inside of the space holder and adding a USB extension. I just gorilla glued that bad boy to the inside of the space holder and then added the flush mount from ebay. Thought this may spark some interest and wanted to see if anyone else had done anything similar. I was considering relocating the mount so that was another reason why I posted this, where have others mounted aux inputs?

I like the idea alot. Needs to be more polished looking though as you know. I've thought about iSimple's flush mounted USB charger myself. Also I hate the location of the aux jack as it is hard to connect to while on the move. The console location does stash the phone/mp3 player well though.

Nice idea, but i would mod the area of where the 12v outlet, right at the top part, looks like some room to work with.
