Load range for tires

Krup I agree with Darkie. I OWN these tires and on and offroad they are fine, in fact excellent. On highway you can air up to 65 psi for a fully loaded truck on a long road trip, I've never gone that hi I usually run 51-55 psi onroad and shes fine.

New shoes are almost here! Ordering them from Discount Tire on Friday (bonus check arriving). I just ordered my Toytec Superflex rear coils so I can't wait to get my new tires on and see the new stance (also raising my 5100's to the top setting with FJC coils in front).

Now I have to go buy my wife something as I'm about to drop 1200 large on some tires...

finally here

Well, it took a little longer than I had anticipated due to my traveling for work, being sick for a week, and then spending a week up in Whistler, but my "updated" lift is done and my new shoes are on!

The longer coils were a bear to get on the rear but it's my fault because I was trying to get everthing done quickly and didn't take apart the rear sway bar. We just used the coil compressors and squished them as much as possible to make them fit. The fronts were easy enough, just moved the 5100's to the top setting.

And I love my Duratrac's! I ended up going with D load range as that's what they had in stock at Discount. I've only driven about 30 miles on them as I have some trimming to do today and removal of my mud flaps. Teaser pics but will get some better pictures up when the weather improves. :guitar3:

I had more trimming with my dremmel than I thought on the plastic piece in front- had to do it 3 times before I got it right! It sucked to cut my baby.
So far I have not done body mount chop nor hammered the pinch weld (May do it when it gets warmer)but the rubbing has stopped when onroad driving. Offroad I haven't noticed anything.

The mud flaps are off. Oh yeah, I do have spidertrax, don't know if you have them. - Nevermind you have em.
PS: It may fit but you DONT want to put that size in the spare tire location- it screws up the suspension BADLY. Trust me I know:happens:

Just seeing this now but yes. Mud flaps and body mount chop. But I also had spacers on, if you don't have them you might not need to do the body mount chop.

I like the reviews on the DT tires so I might get a set next year. But, I'll go for the P rated 255 75 17s. Hopefully, there won't be additional rotational mass by going with a tad narrower but taller tires than stock.
