Location of fuel filter

trying to locate the fuel filter for my 04 4runner v6 version..

any ideas guys??

In the tank and its part of the fuel pump bucket assembly. I bypassed it with my URD pump kit.

I wasn't expecting the fuel filter inside the fuel tank.

How do I change it out?

two choices. Buy a whole new fuel pump assembly or go my route and bypass it with the URD pump and filter.

I checked Toyota's maintenance recommendations and did not see recommendations for fuel filter replacements at all. Should I leave my fuel filter alone?

Nope, no other ways. Honestly I ALWAYS change fluids and filters, but hey its up to you.
