What is the longest trip that you have made with your 4Rs?

My trip back home has been cancelled... Am staying here for one more week, and could go to NC or CA. Have to wait now.

The 4runner isn't really the "long trip" car because of MPG but i did Ridgfield CT, to Ipswich MA, which was 200miles. I am pretty sure that "Shawnstcyr" will top everyone.

Actually in the middle of my longest 4R trip right now. Chicago-> Browns Park in NW Colorado right near the Utah border (1300 miles) via Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming.

Got to enjoy some nice snow-covered passes today, but didn't get a chance to snap any pics. Today more than made up for yesterday's 700+ miles through Iowa and Nebraska though :p

No one single really long trip for me, but my 2008 already has 45,000 miles on it, so I do quite a bit of driving.

My longest trip in a 4Runner was 780 miles one way from Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay in Alaska. I crossed the Arctic Circle on my way up north and was in the middle of the wilderness. You can see pictures of the trip and information here:

The photo diary is only from Faibanks to Prudhoe Bay because it's the main part of the trip. That leg took 4 days round trip.

What a cool trip. Really nice pics, and the place looks amazing.

I drove from just west of Atlanta to Loveland, CO last summer which was right at 1500 miles...got 22mpg(on average) too which made me really happy...beautiful too...except at night when it was just dark.

I did one trip just over 8,000 miles and 250+ driving hours. I went from my home in Tampa Florida, strait up to Cleavland Ohio, through South Dakota badlands, to Glacier NP in Montana Canada border, over to Oregon and Washington border, down to San Francisco, to Moab Utah (sick offloading), and back home to Tampa. :biggrin2:

that's fkn hardcore right there. lol.

longest i've done is 3600 miles round trip houston to los angeles, then vegas, grand canyon, flaggstaff, chiricahua, roswell, carlsbad, lubbuck, and back to houston.

getting ready for my trip to Colorado in march....so far only had but a few trips within 200-300 miles

phoenix to indiana...towing an 82 cj7 on a uhaul vehicle hauler. with a topper on the 4 runner loaded with stuff. 2 100lb dogs in the back of the 4 runner with the wife and i up front. went about 80 the whole way...2 bad parts to the trip. gas mileage was about 10 per gallon and i had to pedal it the whole way because the cruise was kicking it down to 3rd and almost redlining it...but went 80 up mountains no problem.

Did upstate NY to Pittsburgh two days after buying my 4Runner new from the dealership. That was a little more than 8 hours. I haven't had the 4Runner on a longer trip than that to date, but I do plan on taking a much longer trip this summer.

2500 miles from Toronto to arctic circle in Labrador (round trip) in -40C. 3 day drive with 1 full day offroad in snow. after the 4runner couldnt go anymore, we took snowmobiles for another few hundred miles.

my trip isn't that long, but i make it 4 times or so a year...... nc to boston ma to see the inlaws. 800 miles or so each way.
