Go dark on tint

Toyota has a green tint to their windows, to get rid of it you have to go at least 15% on back windows. I went 25% all around and still has a slight green tint on front windows

Did you add more tint to the windows already factory tinted (all but front 2 windows)? The factory tinted ones seem not to be very dark as my other rigs always have? Maybe I am imagining things??!

I added 25% to the back windows also, fronts show the green tint only. Used SunTek CeramicIR(heat and UV control), it gets 100+ degrees during the summer in Eastern Washington. Back windows are not as dark as they seem in the picture, you can still see inside the cargo area. I may have to get the back windows redone

3. Dropped off the roof rails today to get them blacked out. Going with matte powder coat.

Now waiting for 6th Gen.

The badge kit- you mean for the 4Runner emblems in the back? Isn’t most everything else already blacked out? I’m wanting to black out the chrome on the back (4Runner) thought maybe Plastidip would work? Is the black out kit easier??

Upon further research, looks like the overlay might be the way to go??? I see online they are sold as a kit for the SR5. Will these work?

Kit is awesome and super easy to use. Its made by Toyota, you jus stick it on. It looks wayyy nicer. I got them on eBay from a Toyota dealer located in FL. They came super quick, two later later. Here are some pics.

Yes, that's the correct kit. I thought about doing Plasti Dip, but decided to go with these. It was super easy and I think they look great!
