looking for 4runner w/ 3rd row

Hello all,

I'm sorry to have to waste your time with this, but I don't seem to be able to get anywhere with the local Long Island Toyota dealers. I'm attempting to by a Limited w/DVD Nav and the 3rd row seating (we haul kids around for a swim team). I am sooooo looking forward to getting this vehicle and getting rid of the minivan. We're looking for it in the Metallic Grey color.

Anyway, the local dealers don't have anything in stock. I've been waiting 2 weeks while they try to swap a vehicle with other dealers. I was told that some Boston area dealers have the vehicle in stock. I searched everywhere online trying to find which dealers had one with no luck....as I am more than happy to run up to Boston to buy it.

So my question: is there a Toyota rep here who can point me to a dealer in the NY area (or Boston) that might have this 4runner in stock? I'm trying to help the economy and spend some $ and I can't find anyone willing to take it from me!

I'm assuming you tried Westbury Toyota? I recall seeing a Limited with 3rd row when I got my TE a few months ago. Also, try going to the actual dealer instead of just checking out their websites. They arent as updated as you might think, or hope!

I definitely can tell you that the websites are not always updated. I found mine in the NY area by visiting dealers and stumbled upon a Limited with 3rd row. You might also want to expand your search to NJ.... Parkway (Englewoog), Sansone (Linden) and Hudson (Jersey City) are close by and have large stocks

The dealer web sites are simply horrible and painful to use, so I've also been making some phone calls too. Westbury has three 4Runners in stock, with no 3rd row.

I'll give the folks in Ramsey a call.
