Looking for AT tires in So Cal

Looking for some tires in So Cal, right now the Grabber AT2 E-range at America's Tire seems to be the best deal on LT265 70 17 AT tires. $860 installed then a $70 rebate.

Anybody else have those tires, or know of a better deal on similar tires?

The Cooper AT3 is nice, but almost $200 more.

i had my cooper AT3s installed at america's tire in costa mesa for a little over $600. the tires were $126 on amazon and they price matched it. and i got a $70 rebate.

still need to spend that...

Just got 275 E K02s on my new 4Runner that is my daily driver. I don't notice much difference compared against my stock 265 C rates tires, Dunlaps i believe. Noise, mpg, stiffness are very similar to the stock tires.

You will find a healthy amount of people here that will make a big deal about E rated tires. I take it with a grain of salt.

Generally E rated tires are heavier, offer thicker side walls, and are perceived to ride a bit stiff.

However, I have owned two different size BFG KO2s, and I would not say that they are a stiff ride at all. They are quite and feel smooth on the road. My rig is my DD as well. I would get another set if I had to.

I mean, if you're not off-roading heavily and the vehicle isn't really going to see that much trail use. E-Rated tires are probably over-kill. They're main benefit (outside of higher load capacity) is tough construction which is really only beneficial if you're off-roading a lot. While they can be stiffer, I haven't found them to be that much different.

I ran my E-Load 33's and I now run 35" E-Loads and they don't feel that much stiffer than most other customer's vehicles.

I've been running E rated for years and prefer them on and off road ..they bring a piece of mind at all times. The amount of oblects I have pulled out of my tires is amazing. For every oblect I think how many possible times I could have been roadside with a flat or my wife with the just our daughter getting a blow out on the freeway...no thanx. I know there not indestructible don't get me wrong cause I have blown out the sidewalls but that was wheeling that comes with the territory. But in the streets on pavement ..never ever have had a flat. I call them tank tires.
