Looking for lift advice.

I got a 2010 LTD a few weeks ago. I love this thing. I owned an 08 wrangler unlimited that I had lifted with 35's... (I don't miss it at all). I really want to lift my Runner, but I'm not sure what to go with. I was thinking the Toytec ultimate lift was the right one, but I was looking for some advice.

I was signing in to ask the same question...Mine goes in a little diff direction....I too had a wrangler with a 2.5" lift and 35's. My runner is not going offroad like my wranger was...My wife would kill me. I am looking for a little lift to make my runner look a little meaner.

I still plan on going offroad... Just might take it a little easier.

You may not get a lengthy response since this subject has been addressed many times in the past. There are a number of options available, and it comes down to what you are willing to pay and what level of performance you want. Without giving more information, it would be hard to point you in a specific direction. I suggest looking at older posts for more detailed info and then if you still can't decide, try posting with your specifics.

I looked at them. But your talking about $4,500 for starge 4. That's a lot. The toytech is only 1500. Unless your telling me that it's worth the extra 3K.

I think comparing Icon stage 4 to Toytec is apples to oranges. The Icon stage 1 would be a better comparison and I think part of the difference there is the shock bodies. Pretty sure the Icon shocks are rebuildable where the Bilsteins in the Toytec kit are not.

Like I said, it depends what you want and what you are willing to pay. The ICON Stage 4 is an incredible kit for somebody who wants great offroad performance. If you don't need that, it isn't worth the money. I chose the OW Radflo kit because it was cheaper than the ICON but offered (in my opinion) similar performance. You will find people who will agree or disagree with everything that is said on this subject, so the choice comes down to you doing the research and choosing something within your price range. Somebody who chooses to use King coilover reservoir shocks will spend way more than everybody else, but they will get incredible performance--is it worth it? Only you can answer that.
