So I finally decided on the lift I am going with. just wanted something subtle so I went with 5100's all around with the 1.5 daystar rear spacer. Now I cant decide what would look better with this. Trying to decide between 16 in wheels with 265/75/16 duratracs or 17 in wheels with the stock size 265/70/17 duratracs. So any input, opinions, or people that have similar set ups let me know what you would choose. Thanks!

Could you elaborate as to why they won't fit? I'm confused lol

Brakes. 16" wheels won't clear the calipers. 17" minimum req.
what about
16X8 BLACK Toyota Steel Wheels
It specifically says it will clear the brakes for 10' and up 4runners thats the only reason i started considering it. Anyone know if what they claim is true or bs?

There are 17" Toyota steel wheels (off the FJC) that do fit. I run them with snow tires, as do many on here.

how hard was that? It was a simple question and one I think was valid considering everyone recommends wheelers off road as a reliable place to order from and they claim that the wheels do fit specifically addressing the brake issue.
the sarcasm just to be rude was completely unnecessary, didn't know that clarifying something on here warranted someone being a jerk about it. Didnt mean to offend you with my ignorance about this kind of stuff. After all, not everyone just knows this stuff. Thought this was the place to go for new 4runner owners that have questions....maybe not

no one likely bothered to click on the link; widely accepted that 16" wheels won't fit. weird that Wheelers says they do. maybe you should buy a set, confirm they don't (or, lawd hef mercy, do) and demand they exchange them for ones that do while honoring the original price.

Just so were clear. None of the other posts before your original one gave a clear answer if the wheelers wheels were an exception or a mistake. Only 16 in wheels in general. So referring to them before I asked about the wheelers option is irrelevant. And when you did address that question you were an ******* about it first, then Answered my question second. Understand the sequence of events now?

AFTER all of those questions and answers there was a separate question. What I found on a website contradicted all of those answers so I wanted to CONFIRM that what I had found that contradicted all of those answers was indeed incorrect and didn't think that confirming that was offensive enough to you to get ride that's all I'm saying

He said / she said / when they said aside....the more important issue is that you are lifting the truck and not increasing the tire size. Non-fitting 16s or 17s won't matter - you won't be happy looking like a skateboard.
Yea I was worried about that...was kind of hoping to hear that it didnt look that bad from someone who has stock tire size. Thanks for the input though, something else to consider
