Looking to buy a 2015 TEP and have been out of the t4R scene for a bit

I am hoping some of the fine members of this forum could assist an older member who is trying to get back into touch with the T4R happenings. I currently own a 2006 SR5 with 110K on the ODO, have had the truck for 7 years (I am the second owner), have kept it in virtually mint condition, and am looking to trade it in for a 2015 TEP in (I believe) magnetic gray. What kind of deals are you all getting on these? Also, what are the popular options on the TEP? Rigid running boards? Moonroof? I am hoping the dealer can swap the OEM tires with some Duratracs, but, the salesman made it seem like they wouldn't cut me a break on the Duratracs.

Also, my dealer made mention of special financing rates and when I asked him how long they were good for, he said through Dec 1st. Does anyone know when these rates end for good? I believe it was 0% 36 mo, 1.9% 48 mo, and 2.9% 48 mo, IIRC.

Regarding popular options... sunroof and nav are standard on the TEP... there aren't a ton of other options on these vehicles but you can check them out on the Toyota website. There is a sliding cargo tray that is kind of cool option for some. I had it in a previous 4Runner but chose not to ad it this time around to maximize the cargo space. Most dealers don't do anything with the tires... some here have said Discount Tire offered a trade value on their new take offs but I couldn't find any local retailers that did that. Good luck!

I got mine for invoice minus dealer holdback and advertising
Can't recall int rate but it all varies
I would get tires/wheels etc after the deal is done-keep it simple
They don't do anything to break even- until it's month end and they need to move more vehicles

I would suggest going on TrueCar and getting an idea of pricing for your area. Prices range so much by region that any info given to you by members who are not in OH is basically going to be useless (especially if it is "out the door" because of taxes and such). Here in CO there are tons of 4Runners, and a much bigger demand for them so prices can be much different than a place like FL. You can get a "Truecar" price that many dealers will match, which will take a bunch of the haggling out of the deal. My dealer would not switch tires, so I just traded at Discount Tire for $60 per tire. The manager was very upfront about how I could get a lot more selling them my self, but I was already there and didn't wanna deal with all that bs so I just took what he offered. As far as financing goes, go get some quotes from banks and credit unions if possible, and use these rates to negotiate. The dealer will get money for selling you "Toyota" financing so they will usually match or beat a competitors rate. My girlfriends dad was in the military, so he can get good rates from the Pentagon Federal C.U. We brought these rates in and were able to get 1.9% for 60 months with $0 down. This was at a time when Toyota would not do any special financing on a 4Runner (2012). Good luck!

Thank you everyone! What's the verdict on the rigid running boards? I'd like to hit some trails over the coming years, but, won't be doing any serious offroading.

One additional quick question. What kind of gas are you all feeding your TEPs? I have opted to use Shell's V-power for the past 7 years in my '06 SR5 and it seemed to have liked the stuff. I'm sure it probably doesn't matter, since it takes 87, but, figured I'd ask.

How about nFab steps instead of running boards? Easy bolt on installation.

I'm happy with my steps, but if budget allows I would get sliders instead. I do easy off-roading but there have been a number of times where I wished I had sliders.
