looking to trade my LC coils for OME 891/892's

So my truck has settled some but cant bring up the front anymore to match the back without getting major vibration. I really dont care for the rake even though its only about 1.5" - looking to see if anyone is interested in trading my 8 wrap LC coils for some OME 891's or possibly 892's so i can get it back to level.

Why not get some 7.5 and see how it works out for you? It sounds like the 891 are a bit harsh if you don't have them loaded down.

i searched for weeks before i finally got these 8 wraps, originally wanted the absolute smallest i could get but ran out of patience. Im not against these coils by any means but havent found anything smaller

i didnt even think about it until seeing another post on here but i could remove the cone bumpstops and prob. drop it 1/2" or so. I dont tow anything so wouldnt be a problem on bottoming out

Yeah I know what you mean about finding them. I was lucky enough to find some 7.5 wraps, but I'm worried they will be too short. I'm planning on building a storage system in the back so I hope they don't sag too much.

The cones might be a good idea and would save you the trouble and hassle a bit.

Definitely like to keep things simple. keep me in mind if you think you might want taller coils but i know mine hardly sag any at all - ive had 500lbs of rocks in the cargo and it barely dropped an inch

I will see tomorrow what my sonoran steel 7.5 wraps look like as far as rake when I get the 4runner off the jack stands. I left the cone bump stops out. They actually do nothing since the coil is longer it wont use that stop.

only reason i left them in is to keep it from being metal on metal . what you got as far as lift up front?

My lift up front is an older sonoran steel set-up of the tundra coils on 4runner trekmaster shocks. I then have a 3/8 inch top spacer on top of the coil assembly. I got a deal on this set-up used from craigslist, so I am also hoping the rear springs met have worn a little. They only have 7k miles though.

The 890 have a spring rate of 190#
The 891 have a spring rate of 210#
The 892 have a spring rate of 380#

380#!!! That is crazy stiff.

I have some practically new 891s that I'll sell you. I got them from Toytec on Monday of this week, installed them, rode on them for 2 days and decided to go with 890s. Barely used. PM me if you're interested.
