I have the Hankook DynaPro ATM's and they are a great all around tire.

They look good and somewhat aggressive like an off-road tire.
The last about 45-50k miles.
They drive great in the snow with excellent traction. Especially locked in 4lo - they are like driving a tank through deep stuff. Lol

Cooper AT/3, Toyo ATII, BFG KO2 or Goodyear Duratrac, pick your posion, all will have similar performance in all weather conditions and similar treadlife if you take care of them.

I had a slight warp in my tires that was causing vibration. Took it in to get an alignment and was told that my tires were slightly warped! Just means that the front right is getting worn a bit more than the others.

Looking to replace the rubber on my runner, too. Moving from NorCal to the North Tacoma area up in Washington so going to need some good tires with great traction/action in the rainy Pacific Northwest...looking at these BFG AT T/A KO2 for my ride. A damn bit pricey for these KOs but the current BFGs on my ride were bought back in 2009/10 and have been great/worth every penny! X2 for the Hankook Dynapro ATM's. The P rated tires are very light, quiet, and do well in the snow. Once you know what these look like, you will see them everywhere (at least in CO), very popular tire.

Thank you for the suggestions, all! Going to have to make a decision sooner or later! I am leaning towards the BFGs tbh because I've had such a great experience with the set I've been running - the 265/70R/16 fit perfect! :target:

LTX AT2! its what i just put on my truck, ive run them (versions) for the past 8 years, expect 100K miles out of them they are great tires and do amazing in the snow.

Glad to see others talking about LTX AT2s. I rarely see these tires on other vehicles, especially on 4runners. Best tires I've owned. Quiet and smooth on the road, very capable off road and handled snow like it was dry ground.

Oh and I think they look awesome too.

So small update. Waiting for this weekend to get time to do my suspension check and a few other maintenance items on this 4runner. I might need a canister so i am putting off tires for a few days until I know how much money the car needs...

I looked at the rear tires where costco told my dad they were cracking. I was expecting much worse. just mild bit of lines in the tires. (Very little of them too) What is considered excessive? I'll have to get some pics of them soon, but they don't really seem that bad. the rear has pleanty of meat left on the tires, its just the front that is worn unevenly.

Maybe I just need to replace the front.
