Lost OD?

So I posted this is the Grey wire mod side also. So why did I loose Over Drive after doing this mod? This should not have happened if all it dose it turn on my locker correct?

What is the deal and how do I fix it. Do I need to disconnect the Battery and let everything reset? I'm now running 3100rpms at 60. Not a great idea.

Also, I did a 1/2 body lift today too. Did I possibly disconnect something while jacking it up to put the spacers in?

Some people are losing OD when doing the grey (blue) wire mod. Try undoing it and see if you get it back. If so put your blue wire mod on a switch.
 
I did the blue wire mod with no issues at all. If you grounded it the wire good enough there shouldnt be an issue with it. Id say it has something to with the body lift. When i put mine on my dodge it wouldnt start. Come to find out it pulled off the distributor wire. Even though its a half inch its stretching things past factory.
 
I also have issues with the OD button after installing my 1.5" body lift. Its hard to get the button to work, no I just leave it on and dont mess with it. But it happened as soon as I did the body lift, I even adjusted the linkage correctly, maybe the wire gets tugged on and causing the issue.
 
Update:

So I reconnected everything from the "Blue Wire Mod" back to factory. After I did this over drive came right back as it should. The button works correctly and all. So it was not the body lift. It has something to do with the "Blue Wire Mod" in my 99. I'm going to try and put it on a switch and see if I get the same result and lose the OD.

Anymore thoughts would be helpful. At 85 I'm back down to 1800 RPM's.

my guess would be you are grounding or getting power to the wire that controls both relays (whatever the blue wire is, i havent really read the write up on how to do it. Its also possible you did the wire mod on the wrong relay

I'm not sure about that. The ground was solid. I made sure to do it right. I'm going to try this again and do more research on it and see if I can't get it worked out. If I was on a trail and not using the OD then I would not care. This is a DD/ Fun truck so not having the over drive sucks on the Hwy. That and I do not like seeing the Tac sitting around 3k and up going down the road.

You grounded the wrong side of the wire, [MENTION=92510]Ol'Blue[/MENTION], making your 4Runner think you're in 4lo, where OD is disabled.

Ground the other side and I guarantee it will be fixed.
