Here's a video showing the left LCA in action on my '89. I don't know what the normal font-to-back range of motion is for the LCA (very little, I presume), but my gut tells me that the bushings are shot.

Is that a safe bet?

Thought I'd follow this up, just in case anyone else has the same movement. In my case, it turned out that the LCA mounting bolts weren't torqued correctly -- they were far too loose. They should have been at 145-217 ft lbs, but were *nowhere near* that.
