Lower Dash Removal??

I'm getting my final wiring done for my Rigids and couldn't find any info on how to remove the lower dash where the stock switches are, right above the kick panel. I need to remove it to cut it to fit my OTRATTW 3-switch bracket as well as to cut a small piece of the metal support so it will fit.

I looked at the Collision Repair Manual but that was all exterior stuff it seemed.

Anyone got anything?

You want the repair manual (RM). Follow the TIS FSM link in the mods sticky. It has enough info to tear down and rebuild just about everything.

Remove the little plastic screw to the left of the dead pedal, then pull the kick panel out. Then there are 2 bolts along the bottom edge of the panel, release the hood release cable. Then it is just push clips holding it in place, pull straight outward.

As an update, for the 2013 SR5 at least, you also have to remove the left panel surrounding the AC knob. It's held in place with pressure clips, grip firmly and pull.
