LR UCA Caster INFO HELP

I'm at the auto shop now and looking up what settings everyone did for their UCA.

I'm searching now but if anyone knows or have some quick links to go to, I'd appreciate it. Always hard to find when you need it the most....

I'm looking for what settings people did for the front/rear caster

Thanks

Kind of confusing, I had my LR's initial set to the "D" or +2 setting(per extensive research on the FJ forum and the other 4runner forum of those that did it before me) and then set the caster to 4.0+ on the alignment machine for the final caster settings.

Sorry Harper, I was typing my question as you posted. You kind of answered my question. If you had to set it up now, would you go with setting "A" or setting "D" then align it to +4 with the machine as you did?

oh,no problem ! I just hope I didn't screw up his install with my first post. I thought he had LR's already and looking for the best final caster setting.I would still go with "D" as it's been over 2 years and love my alignment/handling and didn't rub with 33's so it would be hard to improve IMO.

Lift Finished!!

Thanks again for the help everyone!

Everything turn out great, I'll post a picture of the alignment sheet later.

On a side note.... I got rear ended tonight... The lift did great! only slight bumper dmg. some light scrapes/scratches no biggy. The other car... not so good for going 5-10 mph. Hood bent in half, grill wrecked, one side likes half out and front bumper bent.

Looks great! Time for some tires now :boink:

What did you end up going with for the lift?

Stage 2 w LR UCA & the lower offset links from Metal tech.
Also picked up the Icon "scratch and dent" rear shock stainless shin guards and mine had some very minor marks but I planned to plastidip over it anyway.

I like the shin guards in red :thumb3: guess it's off to the Depot to see if they got any red Plasdip.

Time for a build thread Deekoi to consolidate those other threads and to show off the new lift etc. :bigok:
