Looks like he took those things to hell and back. You could probably just replace the coil springs. I was going to put lighter weight King springs on my Icon's, but I can deal with it for now.

I actually want to sell my Metal Tech LT shocks and throw on something else. Their rear coils I like though.

Yeah the springs themselves look like they were ran hard.

They look cranked to piss too. I need to buy a spanner wrench so i can lighten up some tension and i think thats too much lift for the 4runner.

Oh wow... those look way over cranked... (My understanding at least going by what OLW told me was that you shouldn't go more than about 2 inches of thread between top and collar.)

Anyways, hey where in Nor-Cal are you? If you're in the Eastbay you can borrow my spanner wrench until you get one?

How much $?
$400

Yeah, i am searching trying to find a good picture of threads for what people have on theirs. No luck yet.

Im in Vacaville. I have a friend who works at Poly Performance and im going down to Pismo end of this month so ill pick one up from him on the way down. I appreciate it though.

well, the coilovers didnt work out. Apparently they were 3rd gen ones. So i sold them to a member here. I purchased LR UCA's, Bilstein 5100 struts/rear shocks, OME 884 coils + top spacer. It should hopefully all come in soon so i can install fast. I have a trip to Tahoe the 16th. I want to take some awesome photos with it fully lifted and done.

They look like they might be a little flawed. You might want to send them to me so i can test them out for a few years. I'll be sure that they are safe enough for you to install....:biggrin1:
