I agree on the looks. I was I my referring to the cv angles at that height with all suspension lift (I've been there)...especially if you're gonna be tearing up the dunes. Lol. Of course YMMV.:driving:

I'll get a CV pic today. I don't think they are much worse than when I had the Tacoma struts on.

I'm also planning on moving the resi. Not really a big fan where it is now. I may move it to the frame in front if the hosing is long enough. If not there maybe in the apron where its hard. Sounds petty but I want it visible.

went a different route after i got rid of all of my lift stuff originally.

Found these Tacoma struts on craigslist and went and picked them up today. Just need a nice cleaning, maybe a little paint. I already ordered the 2" spacer so i should be about 3.25-3.5" up front.

Do you know what year the struts are from? I just found a similar posting in my area for a 2006 taco but it has front and rear billies and coils, looks like it is missing the top hat and the bolts for the spacer kit. came off of an Off Road package. I think that the top hat is the same for my stock XREAS struts and I just installed the 2.5" spacer up front. Now all I need to do is find out if the rear shocks are able to be used in our generation... here is the CL posting... I call dibbs...

rears will fit if you press out the bushing and install the one off your shocks. Tacoma rear shocks have a smaller sleeve.

Its officially been ONE YEAR since purchasing. Its crazy how fast its grown and how little maintenance i've done to it. Besides that center diff lock seizing on me i wouldnt have done anything besides standard maintenance. I am EXTREMELY happy with my purchase and cant wait to continue having a blast with it.

im a few days past one year that i have had mine. i have gotten a few changes done to mine but nothing like yours. you got a really nice rig there, wish i could do mods like yours. but me trying to afford an 09 limited at 21 is not simple. i hope to be about where your at by next year

most of my mods are done because being at the right place right time. Im only 26 and live with my gf who likes to live lavishly. I have to pounce when i see deals and have the cali marketplace to thankfully be able to search through.

Did a standard strip wash/polish and used a new sealant. It had officially been 6 months so naturally my wax/sealant were beginning to wear off and i could tell as i washed. So i wanted to prep before the winter hits.

MrPink soap + APC in Foam Cannon
VLine 36 polish on Adams orange pad
Alcohol wipe down
Sonax Polymer Netshield on paint
Adams Quick Sealant on the wheels
Natural Shine VRP dressing on tires/plastics
Adams UC spray on the liners and undercarriage

This past Saturday I sat in my garage watching football while my kids played outside. I was so pissed because it was a beautiful day and I couldn't do a thing. I just kept looking at my truck and the shelf with all my detailing products. I was getting more and more pissed. Basically I can't do anything that will put a strain on my back......dammit!!!

Just like anything, it only works as good as the layer below it. I clayed and polished to get it ready for the sealant. The sealant is good but its a little tough to remove so you'd do one small section and then wipe off. There isnt any haze or anything.

I will be just washing with good soap and two bucket method and waiting it out. Supposed to last 6+ months with proper care.

thats terrible man, you'll probably get better once you're snowed in and cant do anything anyway! I have a crazy next month with jobs going and knew i wouldnt have time if i didnt get it done today. I was not in the mood to detail but i got through it and wanted to get some good pics and feedback on some of the products im trying for those who may not know about them.
