LTDSC Build Thread

Installed these today. Huge difference from stock jbl system. They really compliment my other replacement speakers. There is 5 of these little guys. Easy install and I highly recommend this mod if you like audio.

What did you use as replacements?

As you know i installed the pods, very straight forward. Since I used pre existing holes I had to remove the washer bottle for install otherwise it was very easy. I took old hid bulbs and used the plugs that go from the OEM fog light plug to the ballast and clipped at the ballast and soldered the pod wires to the plug. Now its plug and play and a secure connection. Very happy with install, the output is 100% like OEM fogs. Also turns on by the OEM fog light twist on the blinker stalk.

Didn't get a chance to explain the install until now.

Had a wheeling adventure so I figured I'd share.

Here's a video I made of the fun.

Change to HD for optimal viewing.

I had a Viper 5706V remote start/alarm system installed. So far i really like it. The key fob is thinner than the older remotes, customizing and messing with the remote is a lot easier it seems. I had my friend who personally installs radios/alarms for a living install it. He was able to get me a killer deal on it installed ($300) so i jumped on it.

Being that you're a keep your car ridiculously clean 24/7 because of the business you're in... was off-roading brutal on your OCD?

not really. its nature of the beast is how i view it. Right now its been raining for a week and its absolutely gross inside and out. It surprisingly doesnt bug me.

Only thing i wont do is go mudding.

Mudding is fun!! :D It helps that I own a power washer though. Stupid car wash is WAYYY to expensive!!

Thats cool. You keep your truck super clean so I figured you'd be freaking out a little. Maybe I was just hoping you would lol...

My local off road park is all mostly red clay. So even if it hasn't rained in weeks there are parts of the park you can't get to without going through mud. Sort of the Nature of the beast for me. I don't intentionally go mudding, but I have to traverse mud to go crawling.

It all washes off pretty easy, except the damn door jambs. I gotta figure out a way to stop the mud from getting in there. My whole truck is clean right now but if you lean your leg against the door sill / jamb your pants get dirty.

Those fenders are badass!!! Love how it carries the body lines. Looking forward to seeing them installed.

i have this problem with my sliders. Since its been raining and it hadnt for almost a year there is so much junk coming off the ground and flung over the side of my car. I step out over the slider because i have legs like a giraffe and the pack of my pants get dirty. THAT bugs me to no end. I bought the sliders for the lady because she is bite sized but she doesnt use them. So im stuck ruining my jeans as shes ruining my leather seats by sliding out.
