LTDSC Build Thread

**** why did I even look at this thread...I just bought myself a 05 4.7l t4r this weekend because im taking my fully built LT Tacoma back home to san diego in a couple weeks. Now I want to get rid of the full OME package I just bought and go all out on the 4runner :ybrick: :cheers:

Awesome thanks. I saw your rear trimmed fenders. Just was not sure if you have extended the length of your CaliFab LCA's to move the axle. Having no reference point, I do not know if you moved the axle rearward and then trimmed your rear flares, or if you kept it in the factory location and trimmed your rear flares. I hope I'm making sense. haha
 
Did some snow wheeling this weekend. Had a blast, everything handled like a champ. Was really impressed.

Only damage was because i didnt install my bump stops in the rear. Pinched the flares out a bit.

The start of my spare tire swing out. Gonna alter it a bit for my liking. Going to use boxed tubing in place of those bars and change the latch style. Little things that will clean it up a bit and make it more my style.

Did you utilize the storage area? I have jl bix but it's only a 10 and it rattles the entire body panel and cargo area. I am Hoping if I take it all apart and sound deaden the hell out of it it may be ok. If not I will have to revert to a traditional style box

Didn't need to with this sub. Used the minimum air space necessary. But I did remove the JBL box and all that extra so it wouldn't rattle.

No, use them more. Maybe get some scratches on them so I'm not paying top dollar lol. But seriously I've been looking into new LCA's and they're so tempting but at that price it makes me question why I wouldn't go full long travel.

after axles and new c/o the price jumps dramatically is why i didnt go LT in place of them.

Agreed, I read an old post that he didn't like the SCS profile! But it looks really good!
