Macoyle's 04 build thread

Build looks awesome, I'm sorry to hear about you in laws house.
+1 for wounded warrior!!! They sponsored the tough mudder race I did a while back.
Also, I happen to like the chrome rims. I generally hate chrome, but I like it with the black truck and it's not over done at all.

Thanks buddy, Ive followed several of your different DIY and I like some of your mods!

I am a HUGE supporter of the Wounded Warrior Program!!! I am actually an alumni now and although I am considered a "Wounded Warrior", I dont go on any of the rides since theres other people that are more deserving or need it more than I do. I do love hanging out with the other folks and helping them though-

"Badass rig right here."
-Thanks buddy!

Super nice rig, man!
Fires suck, we've had far too many wildfires up here (Colorado Springs) the last 2 years, and the flooding has been damn near as bad since.
Glad to hear your family got out ok, as I am glad 2 of my friends did this summer when black forest lit up and destroyed their homes.
Not sure how you drive a black rig in Texas (I die a little when its 80 degrees here), but it sure looks good! :)

Ive got the Viper 5704 with remote start lol. Unfortunately my wife HAD to have black...no ifs and or buts about it. So she got it of course lol. I hate black, everything about it. Especially because I am extremely anal about my vehicles and as well all know black shows every scratch, haze, clearcoat spiderwebs, etc.

If I had bought this for me, this would have been all white, bumpers, rack, sliders, etc.

As you can see in the background of a couple of the pics, the 98 XJ was her first car that we still have and that bastard is black too...Oh well lol

Ive got some new toys that showed up! I also added a split visor police light up front and a rear directional bar out back

New Rotopax toys!
2-2 gallon fuel tanks
1-2 gallon water tank
1- 72 hour preparedness/first aid kit. Ill be going through and personalizing the contents but its a good start

Hey Travis, Thanks for the compliments I just went through your build thread and I like all your mods except for the trail damage :mod: lol

Im slowly rewiring everything to the new blue sea fuse box and these pics were before I tidied up the wiring lol, looks sloppy but it was fixed

Updated, I installed the rear camera bypass switch and a diode so it wouldn't throw a CEL. Also mounted the trans cooler switch and Ill be installing that and the cooler in the next week or two

Installed the rear airbags Ive had sitting in the garage for a few months, finally got around to it. Im also looking at replacing the dash vinyl and I have been looking for a close match and this is the best I have found so far. Anyways, onto the pics-

I am anxious to see how your dash turns out. My cracked dash is driving me up the wall!

Yea mine too! I just ordered the vinyl, I have been debating back and forth if I should go ahead with that color or black, or keep trying to find a darker shade grey, but after searching and searching I couldn't find a darker shade so I went ahead and bought that color. Ill post up pictures once I do the project and let y'all know how it turned out!

Great Build!!! You have inspired me to continue my build, starting with some of those LEDs.

Thanks Jimbo! Let me know when you need some LEDs and Ill get you squared away with a special T4R.org discount!

I have seen one other guy cover his dash. It looked really good. I just don't want to go through the process of pulling out the dash unless i was replacing it. I have really been debating on trying one of those caps.

I thought about buying one of those caps as well, but for almost $200 I would rather have a dash that looks good, if the cap was $100 or less I would have bought it. I am also not looking forward to removing the entire dash....

How'd you do at Hidden Falls? I'm going in a few weeks with some jeepers and I'm worried how IFS will do keeping up with some jeeps on 35s.

I added the trans cooler and aux fan the other day finally as well as the newer "custom extended rear sway bar end links!

heres a few pics:
