Installed some anchor plates from Mac's Custom Tie Downs this afternoon. Nice gear with many applications.

The cargo carrier has stayed put so far, mostly due to the narrow BajaRack Yakima Bar Adapters I purchased with the rack. Obviously, being so narrow, it doesn't allow the clamps to move laterally much.
The anchor points I installed today are nice because they have a relatively large "foot print," grabbing more grates on the expanded metal than a simple d-ring tie down through only one expanded metal diamond hole.

This whole setup looks really flexible, allowing you to mount whatever you might want on any given trip. I can't tell from the pics, but what is your security solution? I know the Yakima locks up, but what about those black cargo boxes and straps? I'm leaning towards the flat Baja rack for my 5th gen and am trying to figure out how to keep parking lot thieves from stealing my gear. Thanks!

I don't really have a security solution for the tent and the Front Runner boxes. When the truck is configured in the manner, it rarely sits unattended in parking lots and such. We are usually camping. If we stop somewhere along the way, I always park where I can keep an eye on it.
Not perfect, but works pretty good.
