Yep, but I have been doing more reading than posting - hence my "Unenlightened" status!

A neat forum but 4Runners, guns, and knives still rate higher in my interests!

Mag Led Conversion

Maglite 4-D cell with Maglite LED conversion.

43 hours of light and never drops below the 4-D cell incandescent's maximum intensity.

Flashlight.com review of 4-D cell with LED conversion

I recently converted a 5-D cell Mag to LED with a dummy cell. It's quite impressive

Good runtime but a BIG drop in intensity within that first 15 minutes. I really dislike the "holy" Maglite pattern. I guess I would rather have a smaller, lighter package with equivalent output.

Let me know how you like the U2. Another one that peaks my interest.

I got the P1 last month. A lot of light in a small package!

I just ordered a Gladius with holster from LA Police Gear. I am anxious to see how it compares to my A2.

I must say thought that while I enjoy all the lights, when I use my ProPolys I usually wonder why I need to spend more for a flashlight. I think I could easily get by with my 4AA and 3C ProPolys, Arc AAA-p, Inova X1, Red River Lantern, Princeton Tec Apex headlamp, Photon Freedom, and Fenix L2. Besides, I could have avoided CR123s!

I just got the Fenix P1. Running on a rechargeable 123 battery it's by far the brightest single-cell flashlight I have. I already had the Fenix L1P modifed for 2-stage brightness. Would like to have the L1T and L2T.
