Maint light

when i start my 4R the maint light flashes six times then goes away... whats up with that?

You must be coming close to 10,000 miles, correct? It will stay on once you hit 10,000 miles

It's telling you that it's been 5000 miles since it was last reset. It's supposed to be a reminder that your car needs maintenance, oil change..whatever. I think it just stays on after 7500 miles. If you last had your oil changed at 13,000 miles, then you should be needing one soon.

As they said just reset it if you had the oil changed.
