MAINT REQD reset

Suppose you wanna do your own maintenance on the 5th gen and when all maintenance is all said and done, how do you reset this light? If there is any previous thread on how to reset this thing, please provide the link. Thanks.

Looks like you're running a Limited from your picture.

Step by step:
1) Turn the car on.
2) Set the computer to display Trip A by pushing the odometer button.
3) Turn the car off.
4) While holding down the odometer button, push the 'push to start' button twice.
5) Keep holding the odometer button, and you'll see 5 bars on the trip computer, counting down until 0 bars. At the end of that sequence, it should flash 0000000, at which point you can release the odometer button, and the maintenance required light will turn off.

Hey thanks for a quick reply but my rig is a Trail Edition and I do not have a "push to start" button. How can I do that with a turn key ignition? Thanks.

Thanks harper, greatly appreciate it. Yeah, should be in sticky, right? I know there's a lot of people who would like to do their own maintenance and need to reset this reminder light. Thanks again.
