i'm not sure how i should "celebrate" the event.... take a close look at my U-Joints...? The most amazing part of this is everything but the Engine block itself is Original! (i bought it used and the MoFo before me didn't change the oil for at least 40k miles).

I've replaced the Lower ball joints around 235k, but except for belts and a radiator, it's all OEM! what's the popular vote for my 'Probably should replace it' list now?

Actually had my wife take the picture while I drove. We were on our way back from the Outer Banks, NC and coming out of the 664 Tunnel. I almost didn't get it, she was having trouble getting it to focus because of the light coming out of the tunnel, and it clicked over to 350001 about 5 secs after this pic.

Anybody's guess what could be going on deep in your drivetrain,at 229k I pulled rear axle off and found sway bar(rear) end links rotted under rubber,brake line rot and tcase seals weeping,childs play stuff.

that's the kind of stuff i worry about... not a major problem, but needs to be fixed! i suppose my biggest worry is breaking a part of the drive line on the road... i've helped other people in that position before (usually a Ford or Crystler, P.O.S.) but i'd like to avoid that issue entirely....
